Patrick Uchigakiuchi. Ph.D.
Patrick Uchigakiuchi. Ph.D., is an Associate Specialist in the Social Sciences Research Institute in the College of Social Sciences, University of Hawai'i at Manoa (UHM). Dr. Uchigakiuchi's areas of interest include cultural competency in mental health services, disparities related to minority populations, community-based research and interventions, and increasing minority researchers and clinicians from underserved populations. Research interests include ethnocultural factors related to risk and protective factors, development of psychopathology, and effectiveness of evidence-based practices.
